In-insulation hybrid external roller shutters sit within the building's insulation zone. This type of shutter is fitted after the windows are installed, but before the façade insulation and finishing works — as a result, the shutter box ends up almost entirely hidden within the polystyrene or mineral wool layer, with only a narrow guide-rail strip visible from outside. It's a solution that combines the aesthetics of recessed shutters with a simpler installation process.
